Join us for Hopkins Public Schools' Districtwide Kindergarten Information Night on November 10 from 6-7:30 p.m. for a fun and informative evening. This is the first event in our kindergarten series and is designed to connect you to the Hopkins Public Schools community while also learning about each of our six distinguished elementary schools and the unique programs offered.

Meet each elementary principal, learn about our curriculum, program offerings, and, talk to current high school students, and learn about Vision 2031 from our superintendent Dr. Rhoda Mhiripiri-Reed. This event is designed for caregivers and their scholars. While childcare will not be offered, there will be activities to engage children and allow families to talk to staff. Families are able to drop in at the time that works best for them.

Translators will be available in Spanish, Somali, and Hmong.

The event will include:

  • Fun activities for children.
  • The ability to meet elementary principals and staff who can answer your questions.
  • A presentation by Hopkins' Superintendent, Dr. Mhiripiri-Reed at 6:45 p.m. about what your child will experience at Hopkins Public Schools.
  • An opportunity to learn about Kids & Co., immersion programs, and more!
  • An opportunity to connect with our enrollment team and to answer all your questions.
  • Spanish, Somali, and Hmong interpreters will be available to assist families.
