Comprehensive Energy Auditor

Course Description

Energy Job Task Analysis (JTA) of the same name. The class curriculum is suitable for any student that wishes to pursue energy auditing on single family homes. This course is designed to prepare qualified students to take the Home Energy Auditor certification exam.

Course Objectives

Students will receive instruction on:

1. The skills, knowledge and responsibilities required of an Energy Auditor
2. How to utilize visual/sensory inputs and tools to collect required information about the dwelling and its systems
3. How to use building performance diagnostic tools and interpret readings in relation to the dwelling and its systems
4. How to compile information from data collection and diagnostic readings to determine what to include on the work scope
