In Person Historical Tour of Harvard

Description

Enjoy the sights of Harvard Yard on this student-led in-person tour of Harvard University. The tour showcases Harvard's campus and provides a history of the University, general information, and insight into the student's individual experience. The free walking tour runs 45-60 minutes.

This is not an admissions tour. To sign up for a campus tour with the Harvard College Admissions Visitor Center, please see their website.

COVID-19 Precautions:

A negative COVID test is not required for building entry, however, all visitors and their guests must agree neither they will not attend if they have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days, been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days, or experienced symptoms of COVID-19 within 48 hours prior to the event. If you are no longer able to attend, we ask that you cancel your registration.

Important Information for Your Visit:

  • Registration must be made in advance.
  • Please ensure you have reserved a ticket for each member of your party.
  • Parties of up to 14 persons can register for a separate, free, in person tour. For parties of 15 or more please contact us at visitor_center@harvard.edu.
  • Tour goers should arrive at the Visitor Center at least 15 minutes before your tour to check-in. Traffic in and around Harvard Square can be heavy, so please account for extra travel time.
  • Tours depart from the Smith Campus Center and conclude in Harvard Yard.
  • Public restrooms are available in the Smith Campus Center.
