Discover something new in Fountain Square where beer flows to every corner of this artsy and retro cultural district that is anything but square. This destination neighborhood is a must-visit for beer enthusiasts, boasting several breweries with some of the best craft beer Indy has to offer!

During this walking tour, your certified beer expert will lead you through various tastings at three local breweries where you’ll get to taste and learn about the history of craft beer in Indianapolis through a variety of beer styles.

Fountain Square is like the quirky cousin of Indy’s cultural districts with the best kept secrets. This fun little spot sits just south east of the Circle in the heart of downtown. With Bohemian vibes, its home to the Murphy Arts building, the Heartland Film Festival, vintage shops, craft cocktail bars, locally owned restaurants, a cozy coffee shop, a vibrant art and indie music scene, burlesque shows, and even a cat cafe! Spend the day and make sure to add this tour to your agenda!

The Beer

Tour includes guided tastings with generous beer samples at each stop. These have been thoughtfully curated by your expert guide and include a variety of different styles with room to choose your own! Most have found the beer selections to be very approachable and many have discovered a new favorite!

Substitutions are always considered. We want you to enjoy your beer. There is food available for purchase at 2 of the stops. Guests are also welcome to purchase additional beverages.

  • Don't forget your photo ID. Anyone who wishes to consume alcohol must be 21+
  • Comfortable Shoes
  • Tours operate rain or shine. Please keep this in mind as you prepare.
  • Cash if you wish to tip your guide. (Although it is not required and never expected.)
