Join us on July 29-30, 2021 for a 2-day training— Introduction to Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy with Special Focus on Children & Adolescents. This training will cover the Basics of IFS: 6 Fs, interviewing parts, IFS language and working with our own systems & parts as therapists. Additionally, you will learn interventions that you can start using in session with younger children and adolescents.

Trainer bio:

Tamala Floyd, LCSW is a psychotherapist, consultant, and IFS trainer. She received a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. She has over 25 years of experience working with children, families, and women’s trauma. Tamala has worked with children is various settings including schools, hospitals, mental health agencies and in her private practice. She has expertise in childhood trauma, especially with children involved with child protection services. Tamala also serves as an expert witness in child welfare cases.She has been married to her husband, Ernest for 23 years, they have five adult children between them, three who were adopted through the Department of Children and Family Services.
