This workshop will provide a practical overview of mixed reality technologies including virtual reality and augmented reality. During the session we’ll cover:

Different types of hardware and software platforms, explaining the technical experience required to use them

  • Different ways to involve participants
  • Key planning considerations such as timing, testing, risks, and likely costs.
  • Examples of projects that have made use of these technologies.

Suitable for all artists and creatives, including graphic designers, animators, film makers, photographers and traditional artists curious about mixed reality, it will uncover the opportunities and complexities of this kind of work and provide a jumping off point for further investigation.
