Journey to My Ideal Green Home – Part 6 - LIVING IN A NEAR PASSIVE HOUSE

Description

As part of the educational project "The journey to my ideal green home", Timo will give examples how the National Construction Code verifies energy efficiency for the residential sector while comparing the outcomes with the Passive House principles. He will touch on the 5 core principles of Passive House, a proven standard for constructing energy efficient buildings, and line out why the building’s “outer skin” is of major importance. Having lived in both circumstances, a house built to minimum Code standard and a house built to Passive House principles, he will outline the fundamental differences for comfort and wellbeing of their residents.
