ILEA Nashville is excited to bring together Edible Nashville Founder and Editor, Jill Melton , and Juniper Green Culinary Events venue, the Old School Farm , for an unforgettable lunch experience and program.
Recently named a 2022 Woman of Influence by the Nashville Business Journal, we are honored to have Jill speak about "What is Nashville" to Edible and how the Nashville experience can be brought to events.
If you are an event professional who is newer to the Nashville area, or a long-time resident, you'll love to hear how our area's natural resources and beauty play an integral part into the culinary experiences, and how you can incorporate these elements into your upcoming events.
Our event will take place in the elegant pastoral setting of the Old School Farm and be catered by the venue's own Juniper Green Culinary Events .

More on our Speaker:
Jill Melton founded Edible Nashville in December 2014, and launched the first issue in March/April 2015. Today the brand includes print, digital, social media, and events, including their signature Farm Dinners and cooking classes. It is Nashville’s favorite local magazine kept on coffee tables region wide. With smart, inspirational content, it covers Nashville’s local food scene, and with that, the diverse chefs, farmers, artisans and cooks that shape it.
Previously, from 2006 to 2014, she was Editor-in-Chief of Relish, a monthly print food magazine distributed in over 900 newspapers to 16 million readers. She launched Relish and grew the brand to tablet versions, a phone app, a live cooking show, cookbooks and the Relish for Moms brand.
From 1989 to 2005 Jill spent 15 years with Cooking Light Magazine based in Birmingham, AL. There she initiated and guided the editorial content and food style that made Cooking Light the country’s number one epicurean magazine and the first publication to show that healthy, fresh food can taste great.
Jill has 30 years-experience in cooking, food writing, editing and public speaking. She was recently named one of The Nashville Business Journal’s Women of Influence.
She is a registered dietitian and professional cook. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, she earned her bachelor’s degree in nutrition from Ohio State University, and her master’s degree in public health nutrition from Case Western Reserve University. She is a mom of 2, avid runner and cooks and lives in Murfreesboro, TN.
