Ken Peplowski "Hidden Treasures: Ken's American Songbook"

Description

"No Repeats: Every set will feature a completely different song list!" -- Ken

Cleveland native and tenor saxophonist and clarinetist Ken Peplowski, "...arguably the greatest living jazz clarinetist," (BBC) presents "Hidden Treasures," a celebration of lesser-known tunes by the best known composers of the Great American Songbook, including Jerome Kern, Harry Warren, Duke Ellington, and many more. Ken and his quartet discovered and developed the repertoire through a series of online pandemic lockdown shows and are excited to present it to a live audience for the first time. Every set will feature a completely different song list! Ken Peplowski has collaborated with Mel Torme, Leon Redbone, Steve Allen, Woody Allen, Marianne Faithfull, and many more, as he has become known as a resourceful jazz soloist, and a master of melody and refined musical taste.
