Lackamas Flats Planting with Nisqually River Education Project

Description

We need your help to plant thousands of native trees and shrubs in Lackamas Flats this fall. These plants will restore native riparian forests along the Nisqually River, which are important for salmon and other wildlife!

The second week in November, we have morning and afternoon work parties on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and a Saturday morning work party. Feel free to sign up for as many shifts as you like.

Register for directions to the worksite.

Work parties are rain or shine. Individual, pre-packaged, light snacks are provided. Minors are welcome provided they are accompanied by an adult.

The ground is relatively flat and even and the work site is a short distance from where we're parking.
