LEED for Cities Showcase: City of Santa Monica, CA

The City of Santa Monica achieved LEED Platinum in December 2021 and is the first local government to reach this milestone in LEED v4.1 for Cities. During this showcase, we'll talk with local leaders in city government about their certification results, what they learned from the process, and what they plan to do next. We'll highlight innovative projects and categories, like Quality of Life, where they outpaced their peer cities. We'll also talk about what other places can learn from Santa Monica or replicate to accelerate progress in their cities or communities.
