Attorney Ecleynne Mercy offers an extensive course on the Essay portion of the Georgia Bar Exam. This class is designed to help students maximize their scores on the Georgia essay portion of the bar exam. This Class will emphasize the best strategy for approaching the test, time management, how to structure the written answers, and effectively construct an analysis.   

Declines in bar exam pass rates have been a national issue for the past few years.  Of the 1,261 applicants who took the July 2018 bar exam, 756 of them were from Georgia law schools.

For Georgia schools, the University of Georgia School of Law led the rankings for first-time exam-takers, closely followed by Georgia State University College of Law and Emory University School of Law. On average, minority law graduates have lower bar-exam-passage rates, employment rates, and income levels.

Some students simply aren’t prepared for the test. Some aren’t prepared because they didn’t focus during law school (not because they didn't want to, they simply couldn't). But even bar applicants with stellar grades may be unsuccessful without a commercial bar review course. Many students face severe financial pressures. In light of these financial concerns, it’s understandable that bar applicants may try to skip additional bar review courses in favor of just "sticking" with the commercial course they have. However, taking every available bar course is of little help to those students who lack general study skills.

As mentioned earlier, I understand that certain students are more likely to be struggling with issues that can place them at risk for failing the bar, this boot camp helps identify needs and explores ways to ensure they are met. Thus, providing the student, a renewed sense of confidence necessary to meet the challenge of the bar exam.
