Let's get Anti-Racist

Description

It's time to challenge our way of thinking and doing things, because we can do better. This workshop will open with heart-centered yoga, connecting to ourselves and those around us, followed by an open disucssion of what it means to be anti-racist, answer any questions but more importantly talk about ways to take action. It's hard work and we are not perfect but you can do it but it's more than that, it's to demand better from ourselves and those around us. Become a better ally in the fight for equal rights for ALL.

Things to bring: Yoga mat, notebook and writing tool, an open mind and heart

Outside of my work, I have three terrors we call cats and a sweet pitbull who runs into walls (I don't get it either, his vision is perfectly fine) as well as a husband who treats me like the goddess I am. Honestly, it wasn't always this way. I did a lot of work to heal myself with love, patience, and compassion. Which led me to the path I am working and I love every step even when it's hard. I have been working in the wellness field for over three years. I decided to take my love of herbs, yoga, and social activism to create Joi of Holistic Coaching. I am co-host on a podcast called Missing Colors which is focused on missing women of color. I accept private clients for soul work, witchy guidance, and yoga. My motto is: "By healing myself, I heal others" and refer to myself as a medicine woman for the soul. I am passionate about taking care of the self, especially for those who are on a journey of parenthood. You deserve to have the life you want and I am happy to be your guide.
