The experience
Come along and enjoy a drawing session with local artist Anna Niman of London Art Drawing and a live nude model hosted at Finsbury Park Blighty Cafe.
We are happy to have this week, the beautiful Valentina U, a dancerwho is modelling for us. Escape the hustle and bustle of the everyday to our relaxing setting with lovely music vibes too. Explore new mediums, meet new friends and hone your skills during this creative experience.
Anna believes art should be fun, open and accessible to all. Since 2013, she has organized weekly London Art Drawing sessions at different locations in North London and online.
This is our where are group was born. Its a smaller, quirky and more intimate space than our other drawing sessions, so its more limited in numbers and price of tickets will go up a week before the event. Drawing boards, paper and basic materials will be provided by Anna. You are encouraged to bring your own favorite materials to make your own creation!
This will venue is only open to drawers who are attending and so encouraged to arrive just before start time or if late, at break time of 8pm. Some refreshments may be available on site in the midway break.
As per current guidelines set in place, face masks are advised but optional in the venue unless eating or drinking.
The artist
Anna Niman is a multidisciplinary artist from North London whose work traverses painting, photography, light-based installations and performance.
Anna studied fine art at Middlesex University and Byam Shaw School of Art. She has taught art, photography, and time-based media at schools and colleges. She taught dance at, and assisted the founder of, Hilde Holger’s School of Central European Expressionist Contemporary Dance. She was a member of the London Biennale, founded by David Medalla.
Her work has featured in venues such as Somerset House, the Royal Festival Hall, Oxo Bargehouse, the Bourges film festival in France, and Berlin.

Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event. An exception will be made for those unable to attend due to a positive COVID-19 test and isolation and can be refunded up to the event itself.
