Tom Burris

While Tom Burris long hoped to make his living as a writer, somewhere on the journey to becoming a novelist he discovered songwriting, and literature's loss became the singer-songwriter community's gain. Originally formed in 1995, Jabbering Trout is a band from Boston that plays Burris's unique blend of intimate songwriting, shared energy, and magnetic performance. The group has opened for the likes of Ani DeFranco and Jeff Buckley, and this incarnation of the band highlights both classic and newer songs from the Jabbering Trout songbook. Sample his music.
