Majorette dance originated from Historically Black Colleges and Universities’ specifically marching band programs. It is a mix of jazz, modern, hip-hop, gymnastics and a whole lot of energy! Learn the fundamentals of majorette dance including main marches and stands with Melody Almé.

For more than 40 Years, The Southern University Dancing Dolls have always shown the epitome of class and style. The Dolls are best known for their stylish dance uniforms, graceful choreography, and beauty standards. A notable highlight in Dolls' history is when they were invited to perform with world pop-star Madonna for her live Super Bowl halftime performance in 2012. In 2019, the Dolls were featured in Beyonce's Netflix documentary ¨HΘMΣCΘMING: A film by Beyonce.¨

Please enter the studio from the back entrance. From Foreland Garth, make the next right after Washington Ghanaian SDA Church. Follow driveway to rear parking lot. You will see a GloFit sign when you arrive. Please see below for a maps view of the directions.
