LifeHikes’ Manager Hike equips managers with the skills and strategies to improve themselves and their organization. You’ll strengthen your communication and relationships with peers, bosses, and direct reports, improve the systems of your organization, and learn how to motivate and develop your team to improve productivity.

The Hike includes:

• 720 Assessment: An assessment that measures your skills as a manager, calculated using feedback from your boss, peers, and direct reports. This score, partnered with your benchmark, evaluates your progress before and after the Hike.
• Benchmark: An objective, science-based skill assessment at the beginning of the Hike that measures a preset number of skills.   
• 10 Interactive Learning Modules: Live, virtual training sessions designed to teach you the strategies and skills to apply to your team and organization. You’ll go through the sessions with other learners and a LifeHikes Coach, creating a collaborative, team-based environment.  
• Summit: The Hike ends with Summit, a final skill assessment to quantify your growth through the program. You’ll receive a detailed report after completion.  
• LifeHikes® App: A powerful video and AI-enabled mobile app that has additional training lessons, enhances the coaching experience, and offers actionable metrics to track progress.

Manager Hike is every week on Wednesday from March 2-May 4, 2022

In order to successfully complete the Hike, it is mandatory to attend all sessions.

What You’ll Learn:

• BENCHMARK & JUGGLING PRIORITIES - Complete your Benchmark and learn the Results, Team, and Systems (RT+) framework of this training through a juggling activity. 

• RESULTS, TEAM & IMPROVE SYSTEMS (RT+) - Learn situational leadership and how to achieve a results mindset while filling out the key performance indicator (KPI) section of the RT+ plan.

• DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS​ - Learn the techniques to address difficult conversations with your team and normalize having difficult conversations. 

• CONFLICT TO CULTURE​ - Identify the types of conflict within your team and organization and learn the techniques to address it. Use conflict as an opportunity to build trust and culture within your team.

• LEAD EFFECTIVE MEETINGS - Learn the Red Box Meeting methodology and audience engagement techniques. The Red Box Meeting template optimizes the time spent in meetings, while the engagement techniques help managers deliver and keep the audience engaged to achieve the meeting goals. 

• SYSTEMS & IMPROVE THE  BUSINESS 5%​ - Understand how systems impact results and how to build strong systems in your team and organization. Flow chart a system in your organization and identify an opportunity to make 5% improvements

• YOUR MANAGER PLAN FOR THE YEAR  - Workshop your RT+ plan. Identify obstacles and fill in the paths to reach your KPIs. Iterate in groups to get feedback and revise your plan for the year.   

• THE POWER OF RECOGNITION - Learn strategies to recognize and motivate team members within your organization. ​

• COACH YOUR PEOPLE​ - Understand when to manage your team and when to coach them. Learn how to get to the taproot of a problem using the DOC coaching methodology.

• SUMMIT​ - Complete your Summit videos and self-assessment and celebrate the end of the training.

• Meeting link & required pre-work will be accessible in the Online Event Page after you register.
