Description

Margaritas and Mental Health is a Wellness Support Group for Woman of Color who want to create a Sisterhood of Empowerment through Education!!!

This is a Safe Space to discuss Self Care, Mental Health Topics, Financial Freedom, and other topics that facilitate Growth within our Community.

The Group is facilitated by Sandtrice Russell (Tree the LPC), a Licensed Professional Counselor.

The first 15-20 mins of each wellness group will be focused on mental health topics specific to BIPOC and the last 40-45 mins will be set aside for group discussion, sharing, and for asking questions.

Remember that this is a Wellness Group and while it is being facilitated by a Licensed Professional Counselor- it is not therapy and does not serve to replace individual, group, or family therapy.

While we welcome you to grab a Margarita (or drink a drink of your choice) while we engage in group discussion; consumption of alcoholic beverages is not mandatory for participation in this group.

What is required is mutual respect for the group leader and your peers.
