This 50 minute history tour of McRaven is home grown edutainment. Named by National Geographic "The Time Capsule of the South" visitors learn about McRaven's interesting past, as well as Vicksburg's past and life in the old South. McRaven was built in 1797 by highwayman Andrew Glass, and added on in 1836 and again 1849. A field camp and later hospital during the siege of Vicksburg, McRaven is fun for all ages.
