About This Event

Lost Dutchman’s - Loud Mine Gold Camp will host this event. Loud Mine Camp is located in the heart of the Georgia gold belt in Cleveland, Georgia. This picturesque Camp will be serene until the Metal Detector Training & Hunts gets underway!

This event is OPEN to EVERYONE. So, bring your family, friends, neighbors, and/or coworkers. Have fun playing in the desert learning to trust your detector, and find more targets!

The event will officially kick off at 7:30am, Thursday, October 13th, 2022, and end at 10:00am, Sunday, October 16th, 2022. Loud Mine Gold Mining Camp will be your homebase and classroom, until you head out to the unknow to find ??????

What is a “Metal Detector Training & Hunt" Event?

The Lost Dutchman’s Loud Mine Gold Camp opens the gates to the public to host multiple metal detector hunts and training each year. Participants will take advantage or industry leaders to educate the use of a metal detector, teach techniques and then swing their detectors in the search of hunting for all types of coins, silver, tokens and more. All participants will receive an extra “goodie or two” just for joining the treasure festivities.

It is more than just Swinging a detector. . . .

The Detector Training & Hunts are for everybody … brand new to detecting, the pro, and even kids will have their own special hunt for treasures and learning center.

It is more than just Swinging a Detector . . . . you will meet people from all over the country, that love the thrill of what they can unearth when they hear mineral tones fill their headphones. This will be a good time for all … even the kids too!

Multiple Hunts and training's . . . plus a few competitions!

There are hunts for everybody … brand new to detecting, the pro, and even kids will hunt for treasures.

Registration Deadline

Registration/payment deadline is October 3rd, 2022. Participation in this exclusive event is LIMITED TO 50 PARTICIPANTS ONLY. Don’t miss out, sign up early to guarantee your spot for this exciting fun-filled event.

Camping sites are available for an additional fee. They are based on availability, and are reserved on a first come first served basis. If you’d like a hook-up site, please call (706) 219-3075 as soon as possible.

Fee structure:

• LDMA Members: $100 per participant

• Non-LDMA Members: $200 per participant

What to Bring:

Photo ID (LDMA Membership Card if applicable) - Camping Equipment - Clothing for all types of weather - Comfortable Shoes / Boots - Sun Screen, sunglasses, hat - Mosquito repellant / Benadryl- Food, personal snacks and water- Cash or credit card! Enter our fundraisers, games or other exciting things! Fun Adventurous Attitude!

Detecting Equipment: Detector(s), Pouch, Spare Batteries, Pick, Scoop, PinPointer and snake guards.

ATV/UTV (Not Required but Helpful – may need Arizona Off road Tag)- Gas Fuel Can(s) - filled . This makes it easier to head out to the private claims or you can ride with someone else.

Liability Waiver & Miners

When registering online, all participants need to click & accept the terms of the liability waiver. Waiver forms will also be available at the event.
