Morning Tea for WA Families of Children With Complex Communication Needs

Description

Come and enjoy morning tea in a lovely outdoor setting hosted by the Cognition in Autism Research Lab at Murdoch University. This relaxed, informal event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families who support children with complex communication needs, including minimally verbal and non-speaking autistic children. Come along and chat with our guest clinicians and researchers. There will be plenty of supervised indoor and outdoor activities to entertain your children.

Guest speakers will include researchers from the Cognition in Autism Research Lab, who will share some of the early outcomes from their studies into augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Representatives from Rocky Bay, AGOSCI, and AAC-technology companies will also be there to answer your questions!

Morning tea and refreshments will be provided - the event is FREE to attend.

Please register your attendance for this event and register children for the activity centre. If you are no longer able to attend, please let us know via email so that others don’t miss out.

This is an accessible venue with parking.
