Description

What it is

Moving On events carve attention to sensory input, experiential anatomy and imagery to freely move alongside others outdoors. The audio guide is accessed via your phone/ mp3 and you will need to bring headphones and some good pockets to move freely. Your practice can unfold in relation to others while keeping a safe distance, creating a personal journey that is shared and is free to adapt and be changed as you like and need. If you come with children let us know and we'll bring a blanket, booklets and drawing materials for them to pause when they need to.

About Moving On Composing with Climates

Dancing outdoors inspired by audio guides that invite sensing your inner and the outer climates, as well as their worldly entanglement. Together we move to open our skin perception to encourage interconnectedness and change.

Who it is `for

The guide is accessible and useful for all ages and is 1.5 hour long. You may take breaks and walks as you need at any point or simply witness how other movement around you unfolds. Come along even if you have no prior experience as this is suitable for all levels from newcomers to professionals. You can't do anything wrong as all is open to adaptation. Others around you support being in this exploration as we collectively enter. Everyone owns these audios in their personal way to connect to movement and nature in ways it feels good and right.

Set in public spaces we are visible to the public. The transparency of movement explorations offers an opportunity for you and the public to witness how dance unfolds when we engage with our environment and it is an opportunity to become more comfortable in your body and movement when stretching our normative movement range. It makes you feel more free and ease to be in your body and with nature.
