Description

Join Us for a Visit to the Harriet Tubman Museum

The Harriet Tubman Museum shares the inspiring story of an American hero, the rich history of abolitionist activism, and the enduring legacy of the African American community in Cape May County.

Your entry is good from the start of the hour and includes admission for your exploration of the Museum's exhibits during the hour of your session. Timed ticket entry is limited to the one-hour session so the Museum staff can welcome our next visitors, given high demand.

Guided tours are given during particular sessions, and other sessions are self-guided for your own exploration. Our current admission schedule is:

Wednesday 11am - 3pm* (guided tours on the hour 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm)

Thursday 11am - 3pm* (guided tour at 12pm ONLY, SELF-GUIDED rest of day)

Friday 11am - 3pm* (guided tours on the hour 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm)

Saturday 11am - 3pm* (guided tours on the hour 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm)

Sunday 2pm - 3pm* (guided tours on the hour 2pm, 3pm)

*Last daily tour/admission is at 3pm, doors close at 4pm.

Sessions are limited so we recommend booking tickets in advance. Accommodations for larger parties and group tours may be requested by writing to info@harriettubmanmuseum.org and we will be happy to coordinate with you.

We will continue to make new sessions available on a regular basis, so if your preferred session is not available, please continue to check back.

We hope you will join us to visit the Harriet Tubman Museum and its home, the newly preserved Howell House. Thank you for your help and support in making the Museum possible. We look forward to seeing you at the Harriet Tubman Museum of New Jersey!
