Customize your nail show experience to fit your budget with 1, 2, 3 or 4 days of education at the Nail Tech Event of the Smokies in the resort town of Gatlinburg, Tennessee!

All licensed beauty pros (LMT's included), salon/spa owners, beauty school students & their instructors are welcome with professional ID shown at the door of the Gatlinburg Convention Center (see FAQs); not open to the general public.

Nail companies from all over the USA feature demos & sales with show specials, Event Day Classes included with your show ticket, plus optional paid Workshops for more in-depth, hands-on education for Friday, Saturday & Monday (cost extra & paid directly to each company holding a Workshop).

Experience a FUN tax write-off family vacation to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, but remember that the Smokies Nail Show is not open to the general public. Your friends & family can still enjoy the big Craftsmen's Fair held in the lower level of the GCC while you're upstairs at the nails-only show for licensed beauty pros.

What's the refund policy?

There are absolutely NO refunds once any ticket type is purchased.

TICKETS ARE TRANSFERABLE TO ANOTHER LICENSED BEAUTY PRO once YOU complete these 4 easy steps to change your ticket info. You will need in advance:

1) the buyer's name

2) the buyer's email 

3) the buyer's cell phone number

4) the buyer's pro beauty license number with their state

Can my spouse/significant other buy a ticket since he/she helps pay my salon bills?

Space on the show floor is tight & every inch of it is needed for licensed nail techs, so unfortunately NOT unless his/her name is on the actual salon business license issued from your State Board.

This salon license number must be entered on his/her ticket during the purchasing process. All salon & pro beauty licenses, plus a photo ID must be shown at the door to gain entrance. NO entrance to the show floor even if you purchased a ticket without both of these forms of identification.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event or purchase tickets?

YES. All tickets must be purchased in each tech's own name listing their own individual contact info & their own unique pro beauty license number.

Duplicate orders using the same name/pro beauty license number will have all but the 1st ticket canceled without warning.

You'll receive an email stating that the ticket was canceled & your payment credited back onto the card used to make the initial purchase (takes usually 7-10 business days).

Each ticket holder must show their own pro beauty license (or Salon License), beauty school ID (or supporting documents from beauty school) & matching photo ID at the Registration window when you check-in for the Show.

Security guards will be verifying appropriate wristbands at the doors. Absolutely no children nor babies. Sorry, but due to the liability, we cannot provide any child care facility recommendations.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Paid parking lots are across the street from the GCC on Historic Nature Trail ($20 +for all-day) & also across from the Space Needle, but arrive by 8:00am to get a spot before they fill up.

Trolley stops are located in front of most hotels & are in front of the GCC (FREE to ride). Trolleys do not run on a defined schedule, so you could be waiting 1 minute or 1 hour.

What can I bring to the event?

Rolling carts, large purses & shopping bags are permitted, but no baby strollers nor infants being carried. YOU are responsible for not injuring others with your rolling cart. 

No food, drinks, alcohol, drugs/weed, animals, fireworks, weapons.....you know, the usual no-no's. Security guards will be walking the show floor & checking wristbands at the door; per GCC protocol shoplifters will be arrested & prosecuted by the Gatlinburg police.

The GCC is Accredited with the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) to ensure guest's safety & has updated all bathroom fixtures to be touch-free, plus installed hand sanitizer stations on the walls throughout the facility, along with providing extensive training for their maintenance staff regarding sanitation/disinfection cleaning of the entire facility.
