Mark Harris is a self-taught filmmaker. His movies have been distributed by major distributors and he’s self-distributed many of his earlier films and sold hundreds of thousands of copies in the U.S. and overseas.

​Mark's 2020 film "White People Money" received a limited theatrical release and is now available on Apple TV. He has partnered with AMC Theaters for a theatrical release of his film “Black Coffee“ , and is now available on Fox's streaming platform Tubi, as well as Amazon, and has been seen on Netflix and BET.

He has partnered with Entertainment One, Image Entertainment, RLJ Entertaiment, BET, Codeblack Entertainment, Warner Brothers, Signa Entertainment, Indican Pictures, and Hannover Pictures for nationwide and global distribution.

​Mark is the Founder of 1555Filmworks, a film production company that produces feature films and he’s the Founder of the Englewood International Film Festival.

​In this conference, Mark will provide filmmakers with strategies to gain theatrical distribution, as well releasing your film on major streaming platforms. He will also cover self-distribution, building your audience and marketing yourself as a filmmaker.
