National country music artists Andy Griggs and Darryl Worley will be performing in downtown Greenville, KY on Tuesday, Sept. 7th! Andy Griggs has13 singles and 6 Top Tens on the Billboard country chart, 3 #1’s including Bluegrass #1 Georgia Peach” with Larry Sparks, "You Won't Ever Be Lonely”, "She's More" and he also had 2 motion picture soundtracks. Darryl Worley has produced 18 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including three number ones: "I Miss My Friend", "Have You Forgotten?", and "Awful, Beautiful Life", from 2002, 2003 and 2004–2005, respectively. "Have You Forgotten?" spent seven weeks at number one. Nine other singles have reached the top 40.

This concert kicks off a full week of patriotic tributes and events to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Ticket sales from this event will go directly to local first responders. A $15 ticket will give you prime seating in a reserved area directly in front of the stage.

EVENT DETAILS: GATES OPEN AT 6:30 PM. No chairs or ticketholders will be permitted in the reserved area until after that time. You will need to present proof of ticket purchase and ID on arrival at check-in and will be given a wristband that will allow you to come and go from the reserved area.

Q: Will the event be outdoors?

A: Yes, the concert will be held on the steps of the Muhlenberg Courthouse. South Main Street will be shut down and concert-goers will be seated on the street. The venue has no permanent seating, so concert-goers should bring lawn chairs. The venue address is 100 S. Main St. Greenville, KY 42345.

Q: What happens if it rains?

A: In the event of, or threat of, inclement weather, which includes rain, lightning, or high winds, the safety of the concert-goers, band, and crew will be a top priority. Updates will be shared on the Greenville Tourism Facebook page.

Q: How will seating work? When do gates open?

A: A General admission $15 ticket will give you a prime location to watch the concert. Concert goers should bring lawn chairs. Seating will be on the street and will be on a first-come-first-served basis. Gates open at 6:30 PM CT on Sept. 7th. Lawn chairs can be placed as early as 6:30 PM CT on Sept. 7th. At the owners’ risk, chairs can be placed and left while ticketholders enjoy dinner, shopping, and exploring Greenville.

*Please note, the south end of South Main Street will be closed to traffic and will not be ticketed. Concert goers are welcome to set chairs there for free, however, that end of the street has VERY limited views of the stage.

Q: Will there be handicapped seating?

A: All seating is first-come-first-served, however there will be a section reserved specifically for handicapped seating.

Q: What do I need to check-in?

A: After purchasing tickets, you can print a copy of your ticket, or save a digital version on your mobile device. You will be required to present your ticket at the gate. Ticketholders will be given a wristband so they can leave and enter the reserved area as needed.

Q: When will ticket sales close?

A: Ticket sales will end at 11:59 PM on Sept. 6th or once capacity is reached. If tickets are still available, they will be sold the day of, at the gate.

Q: Are coolers allowed? Is alcohol allowed?

A: No coolers or alcohol are allowed at the event.
