Non-binary Craft Group

Description

The Non-binary Craft Group is a place where people outside of the gender-binary can come to work on projects and socialize with other gender outlaws. We welcome all levels of art, ability, and outness, and primarily want a space where we can be ourselves openly. This is not a group whose focus is education about trans and queer identities (though those conversations may come up) but rather on connecting with other creative people who have similar backgrounds in gender non-conformity. Come on in and chat, craft, and skew societal expectations! We love our allies but this is not an ally space, and is only for those that are non-binary.

We meet every Wednesday night from 8PM-10PM (EST). Anyone (18+), anywhere, identifying with this community is welcome to join us!

Individuals may come and work on ANY craft they are currently working on. All art forms are welcomed including coloring, origami, knitting, building puppets, painting, and more! It is okay if you do not come with an idea already in mind, we welcome creative curiosity and hope this is a space where you can be inspired to pick up new ideas.

In This Group:
-there is no leader and we are all equals
-empower one another to advocate for yourself or other attendees
-honor each other's stories with non-judgement and confidentiality
-welcome each other as chosen family
-celebrate genuine curiosity and exploration

GenderQueer and Nonbinary Game Night takes place on the last Friday of the month from 8PM - 10PM EST (using the same zoom info above) and is open to anyone wanting to play virtual games.
