During this training, participants will gain tools for protecting their children and teens on social media, gaming platforms, and online generally. Participants will learn strategies for blocking and reporting anyone who makes their child or teen feel uncomfortable. We will practice talking to your child and teen about internet safety, and protecting private information.

• This training is designed for parents, caregivers, or anyone who knows a teen or child who is online. Everyone who in interested in learning more about internet safety is welcome!
• Once you register for this training, you will have access to the Zoom link. You will also receive an email 2 days ahead of the training with the same Zoom invite, and again the day of the training.

• This training is approved by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners for 1.5 CEU hours. Effective July 1, 2021; Center for Hope Trainings will be free to the public, with a CEU certificate charge of $30 per CEU hour.
