9:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Chicks & Sprouts for Cub Scouts + Siblings.

This interactive workshop teaches children how baby chickens grow inside the egg as well as how plants grow! Children will plant their own giant sunflowers to bring home, harvest a vegetable, and visit with our barnyard friends.

11:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Strawberry Farm-to-Table Cookout for EVERYONE (3-100 years old).

It is TWO experiences in one: (a) Strawberry Tour and (b) Farm-2-Table Cookout.

(a) Strawberry Tour is a guided wagon ride around the farm where we will learn about the farming methods and history. We will see how fruits and vegetables grow! The last stop on this tour is in the strawberry patch where we can pick and eat strawberries! Everyone will take home a one-pound basket of strawberries!

(b) Farm-2-Table Cookout is a guided walking tour around the farm where we will be able to pick our own seasonal veggies in the field.

Then, we will eat a freshly prepared lunch with grilled chicken, grilled seasonal vegetables, farm fresh salad, seasonal fruit for dessert, and bottled water.

2:30 PM - 3:30 PM: Presentation for Nova

Nova: Small Group presentation and discussion on requirements per the Award requirements for Scouts BSA / Venturers / Sea Scouts.

NOTES - PLEASE READ:

1) No refunds.

2a) Bring Face Covering and be prepared to wear it all day.

2b) Bring proof of Covid vaccination -or- NEGATIVE test results within 48 hours of April 10.

3) This is not a drop off for any Cub Scout and any Scout BSA who’s not yet 13 years old.

4) Scouts BSA who are 8th Grade and up / Venturers /Sea Scouts can be dropped off.
