Novus Exhibition Opening

Description

NOVUS foregrounds a strain of artistic production operating outside of conventional forms, frameworks, and paradigms. In this exhibition at the historic Peale — the nation’s first purpose-built museum — curator Megan E. L. Klink showcases emerging multidisciplinary artists who are actively defining the future of art. Through site-specific installations, wearable art, and digital or virtual works, these artists urge the use of new strategies for creative interventions in daily life. NOVUS will be on display at the Peale from May 26th to June 26th with an opening reception on Thursday, May 26th from 6PM–8PM.
