At BIP, we celebrate LGBTQ films, honor and advocate for the diverse queer community around the world. We’ve handpicked some queer films films to Watch celebrating Pride Month and exploring the LGBTQ film language. Once you get your ticket you will be able to watch the films at any moment and all the times you want until June 30th.

Romeo y Romeo a film by Luis Caballero: Two teenagers are discovering love through fairy tales and skateboards. Confronted by their desires and repressions these two teens confront religious and social repressions condemning the chances of accepting their homosexuality. (In Spanish with English subtitles).

Unlabeled a short Film by Fernando Viera: A reflexive documentary that explores the boundaries of masculinity and femininity (In English)

El Color de la Guayaba a film by Luis Caballero: Among the stories narrated in the film is that of 'Mariposa', the story of a 10-year-old boy and his suffering before society and the struggle of a mother who loves her son unconditionally regardless of his homosexual tendencies. (In Spanish with English Subtitles).

Two teenagers are discovering love through fairy tales and skateboards. Confronted by their desires and repressions these two teens confront religious and social repressions condemning the chances of accepting their homosexuality.

This film presents the social differences affecting the country and at the same time as religion responds to social status. Romeo and Julio are the result of traditional and fundamentalist families where the only salvation is dressing up in a costume party to unleash their freedom.

El Color de la Guayaba a film by Luis Caballero: Caballero presents in this film, a world of magical realism with a queer langue the story of Bautista, a public car driver who is 'chartered' by Ada Korthright to take her to her house on the other side of the island without picking up any other passengers and to help her buy guava. Baptist agrees. During their pilgrimage, these two characters discover each other through stories told by Bautista, who has been a public car driver for 44 years.

Among the stories narrated in the film is that of 'Mariposa', the story of a 10-year-old boy and his suffering before society and the struggle of a mother who loves her son unconditionally regardless of his homosexual tendencies.
