This ONLINE workshop will start with an overview of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There will be plenty of time for discussion, you will have an opportunity to ask all your questions and leave with tools and resources to work with children with ASD.

The focus will be on practical ways teachers can better connect with, engage and communicate with children who are on the autism spectrum. Teachers will leave with tools and resources to be able to more successfully include and accommodate children with ASD within their early childhood education classrooms. There will also be opportunity for discussions, sharing of experiences, resources, and Q&A within the group.

What is the refund policy? Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for trainings, unless Buncombe Partnership for Children cancels the event. Instead, we do offer ‘credits’ that can be applied to future trainings you wish to attend. To receive credits for future training you must cancel at least 24 hours in advance. You are responsible for contacting us should you wish you transfer your credit to another training.

Can I pay with cash or check? If your organization must pay by check, please contact us at 828.407.2058 or training@buncombepfc.org. All checks are due 72 hours in advance unless otherwise agreed upon. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash. If you do not have a credit card or feel uncomfortable using a credit card online, consider asking a friend to register you and giving them cash.

I’m going to be running late. Can I still attend? Unfortunately, DCDEE rules do not allow for credit to be given to participants that miss more than 15 minutes of a training. The participant is welcome to still attend, but CHCs or CEUs cannot be given.
