In comparison to normal life drawing classes with quicker poses this will be one pose held for a whole 3 hour session. This gives us the opportunity and time to get out the paints, pastels or charcoal and really develop an artwork. The time can be used to practice your drawing and sketching skills and really build up depth and detail or gives us enough time to have a go at painting (not normally possible in a lifedrawing class).

It is a great opportunity to make art and practice your skills using a live model! You can even choose to focus on developing a portrait. Jack will be on hand to give tips and advice to anyone who is unsure how to proceed. The session will be at the Classical Art Academy in Southbourne with limited easel space of 8. It will cost £20 for a 3 hour session and you will get the use of your own easel and painting trolley for mixing paints. If you’d like to come along and just do some sketching without using an easel then we can offer some more spaces for £15.
