What lies ahead for families torn apart and new asylum seekers? In conjunction with the exhibition Donut (W)hole, join us in a conversation about the United States' Asylum Policies and history; who are granted and denied asylum. Moderated by H. Marissa Montes, Visiting Associate Clinical Professor at Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic, will be joined by individuals in the field: Kimberley Plotnick, Program Director Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project, Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc., Daniel Sharp, Chief of the County's Office of Immigrant Affairs, Yliana Johansen-Mendez, Immigrant Defenders Law Center, and the artist Phung Huynh.
