Philosophy in the City

Description

Join us for a presentation of our Living Philosophy course!

Throughout history, there were people who dedicated themselves to the love of wisdom - philosophy - and their experiences are still transmitted from one generation of philosophers to the next.

What can Stoicism teach us about resilience and freedom? What can Hinduism teach us about our inner struggles and strengths? What can Plato and Confucius teach us about leadership? What can ancient Egypt teach us about justice? What can Buddhism teach us about suffering and happiness?

The Living Philosophy course is an opportunity to discover those teachings, and to put them into practice in everyday life. It is an opportunity to add your own voice and experience to the exceptional human beings who have developed and practiced these ideas.

In this course you will find practical tools to learn to live with more freedom and sustained happiness. You will gain fresh perspectives to make sense of the world we live in today. You will explore the path of inner change as a key to actively contributing towards building a better world.

This is a free open class for the course. The course costs $119 for 8 weeks ($99 for students or 25 years or younger). Those who wish to register will have the opportunity to do so at the open class or can register directly here:

The last Living Philosophy course of the year will begin on Thursday, October 13th, 2022.

We look forward to seeing you!
