Join this powerful and engaging group session all about learning and growing TOGETHER. Photography teacher Jerred Zegelis and professional photographer Nathaniel Jensen will be the facilitators of this session. (You can find more about their work below.)

"Critiques" have always been a powerful part of photography, but the concept can sound intimidating from the outside. This critique session is different in that it's focused on positivity and engagement focused on helping the entire group get better together as well as the individual photographer showing their work.

For this session, you will bring ONE photograph that you would like to share with the group. It can be a wedding shot, a landscape, nature, portrait, wildlife, still life or any type of image you can think of. (It MUST be high-school appropriate, no inappropriate or sensitive images of any kind will be shared at the facilitators' discretion.)

Then, we will go through a tried-and-true process that Jerred Zegelis used for almost two decades with high school students. The process focuses on positivity and growth, and became one of the most popular classroom activities his students engaged with.

Nate and Jerred have offered this session before, and the photographers enjoyed the energy and positivity throughout the session.

About Nathaniel Jensen:

A graduate of the UNO business school, Nate enjoys pairing his knowledge of entrepreneurship with an artistic knack for photography. He also loves helping other creative people find success in running their own businesses through mentorship and community engagement. This is the focus of a community organization called the Creatives Collaborative which Nate founded as a way to connect people interested in honing their skills in entrepreneurship and art.
