Do you want to work in a career you are passionate about? Are you interested in sports therapy and physiotherapy?

Do you want to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with high-performance athletes or work one-on-one with patients in their rehabilitation?

If you answered yes, then Portobello Institute has the perfect online event for you. Knowing you want to become a sports therapist is half the battle – figuring out how you can achieve this takes some research.

On April 7th, you can attend the first of three informative ‘How to Become’ sports webinars. The first webinar will focus on ‘How to Become a Sports Therapist’. We will explain everything from entry requirements, advanced entry, work placements, our partner universities, our facilities and delivery as well as the pathways to progress further and career opportunities.

Our expert tutors will  explain our BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy course joined by a selection of our graduates who will tell you about their experience of studying at Portobello Institute and the career success they have enjoyed since graduating, giving you tangible examples of career progression.

Some of our graduates work with professional sports teams, others have established their own injury clinics and more. You will hear firsthand information about how they became sports therapists and physiotherapists.

A representative from AECC University College, Bournemouth’s specialist Health Sciences University, will discuss how the BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy can be used as a way of becoming a qualified physiotherapist without having to deal with the entry requirements of the CAO and the competition that comes with it.

This webinar is suitable for anyone from school leavers to adult learners wanting to change career, the information will be valuable to anyone interested in becoming a sports therapist or physiotherapist.

There will be a Q&A session at the end to answer any queries you may have.
