The Whisper Room loves to present Pour It & Poet to allow the Lafayette to come together to celebrate poets and poetry while enjoying delicious drinks! At 7pm, the night will begin with a reading by local poets, Caitlin Vance, Kirby Jambon, Callie Smith. Following these wonderful artists, the stage will open up to volunteers for an open mic session.

Although the night is primarily dedicated to poetry, other artists should feel free to perform during the open mic portion. This is a night that allows people to come together and celebrate the human experience, so all attendees are expected to give the performers respect and encouragement.
