Part kick-ass power, part internal peace and relaxation. Our weekly 50-minute Power and Peace Classes provide the perfect balance! During these reality-based and truly empowering classes you will start by learning and practicing new self-defense skills such as striking, blocking, movements, escapes, ground defense, defense against weapons and more to help keep you safe. Each class is taught in a relaxed environment and will focus on one technique. Then, using inspiration from ancient Tai Chi philosophy, we will slow everything way down. This part of the class will focus on breathing, movement, and honing your new technique to perfection. Class will end using ancient eastern breathing exercises and movements to connect the mind and body. And a guided meditation session will help you leave feeling relaxed and renewed. This class is great for helping those who are timid or want to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, or lack of confidence.
