This is a donation-based event. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Words like "self-care" and "wellness" have become buzzwords. But most of the current rhetoric approaches mental health as an individual problem requiring an individual solution, ignoring the largest sociopolitical contexts in which we all exist.
In this interactive conversation, we look at the relationship between the personal and political, exploring well-being as a community issues, and asking what it takes for self-care to be truly radical. Join us for:
A 4-Part Series
We encourage you to invest in your well-being. Come to one, two, or all of the events in the series. Each workshop builds on ideas and themes from the others, but they're all designed to be stand-alone, so you won't miss anything if you can only attend one.
You'll be able to purchase tickets for these events one at a time, or as a bundle. The Back to Basic workshop is donation-based. We believe that wellness should be accessible, that people should be compensated fairly for their labor, and in giving from abundance: If cost is the reason you can't sign up for any of these workshops, contact the event organizer. Similarly, if you'd like to gift a scholarship ticket, also contact the event organizer.
