Relationships we create between our characters in improv are often the thankless secret driving force of scenes. Sometimes our scenes begin to feel stale because we rely on unconscious cliches we have internalized. Come let's intentionally explore and expand our library of relationships which will help us to play in a wider world of possibilities on stage.

About your Instructor:

Blue Cavell-Allette is an adjunct professor at Morgan State University where she teaches foundational and applied improv. As a passionate advocate for equity in improv, Blue serves as the Director of Community Outreach for the international organization Black Improv Alliance. She is a founding member of the renowned improv teams Casually Dope (Minority Re'port) and national award winning Cakewalk.

Blue has been invited to perform and teach workshops with theaters all over the U.S. and Canada. She is a comedian, writer, producer, and director of both traditional and improv theater.
