• What is Culturally Sustaining Pedagogy and what does it have to do with picture books?
• What to do when you find out your favorite childhood book could be harmful?
• Own voices
• Reliable resources for selecting books and materials
• How do we deal with the vocal minority trying to limit what kids can read?

We will also have time for discussion and sharing of participants’ favorite children’s books.
