Riding the Tiger: Stepping into Durga power for Navratri Ceremony

Description

**Navratri Celebration Ceremony**

~Meditation ~ Durga Initiation Journey ~Drumming & Ecstatic Dance

~Yoga Nidra ~Sound Healing ~Journaling

Come join Abneet, Anju and Ami in ceremony as we celebrate the end of the Navratri: a 9 day Indian festival that honours the 9 goddess incarnations of DURGA– the earth warrior goddess from which all other goddesses come forth.

If you are seeking a space to understand ROOT POWER better and your divine feminine source code (also known as SHAKTI) we invite you into this space to journey into the underworld together– deep into the roots of the earth. Here we uncover your innate grounding energy and how Durga shows up for you.

Who is DURGA? She is the earth warrior goddess stemming from Hindu tantric mythology. Her name literally translates to “fortress”. She is one we call upon when we want to end a pattern, start a project or assert heart-based boundaries. When she is seen riding into battle – she comes laughing and leaned back on her tiger– her laughter is a roar that rocks the lands.

As we live in a culture that favors people- pleasing and folks not being in their embodied boundaries– these goddess archetypes and mythology can act as a beautiful doorway to reclaim our inherent birthright to take up space and be powerful. To establish our boundaries, and also feel safe to speak up and create new realities that heal broken systems of oppression of capitalism, patriarchy and colonization.

This is perfect for the person who has been feeling anxious, all “up in my head” energy, and wants to FEEL somatically how to hold deeper, grounded and expansive energy in the body, while still being receptive and in their feminine. This is also for she who has been feeling a rumbling of awakening in her belly and ready to anchor in her divine feminine as we build the New Earth– one based on the intelligence of the heart and respect for Earth, and the cycles and rhythms of Nature.

Abneet Kaur Sandhar is a trained classical Indian Tantra yoga guide, receiving her 300hr teacher training with Master yoga lineage holder: Maitreyi Yogacharini from the Arkaya foundation in 2019. She is also a Feminine Embodiment Coach receiving Woman's Temple facilitation training with Awakening Women in 2017. In 2021, she was awarded for her community leadership and facilitation by the Visioneers Network.

Abneet is OBSESSED with guiding women back to their inner healing capability and reclaiming inner power. She knows that the healing of the world takes place as the Sacred Feminine is brought back into balance. She specifically works 1:1 with feminine visionaries, leaders and artists to help them embody a profound sense of rootedness and radiance that up-levels every aspect of her life. Women who have completed 12 week journeys with Abneet as their spiritual embodiment guide, have learned how to establish healthy boundaries, re-awaken pleasure, re-sensitive their bodies, open their hearts to healthy loving relationships, and create flourishing feminine-led businesses.

A former burlesque model, nude art model and life-long sacred arts dancer, she encourages women in her practice to enter their bodies more fully in order to show up more deeply in every aspect of their lives; in intimate relating, communication, money and sex. After years of studying spiritual self- healing techniques, meditation, classical tantric yoga and dance, she brings you "The Nourished Woman"-- a safe space for women of all walks of life to come together in community to celebrate and express their most honest raw selves.

The time for feminine leadership on the Earth is rising, and women can support each other in these times, as we also steadily and gently do our own inner-self work and care.

Abneet currently offers international Nourished Woman Goddess retreats, the acclaimed 8 week group Initiation Journey: Awakening Shakti that begins a second time this year on Nov 8 , 2022 in South Surrey, and private, virtual 1:1 feminine embodiment mentorship spanning 3 months.
