You are cordially invited to attend the RCUN's Annual Reception & Fundraiser. Please join us on Friday, June 17th, 2022 as we celebrate the end of the Rotaract year and raise money to fight climate change.

About: The Rotaract Club at the United Nations works around the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations to be a "blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all". Each year we select a goal and create events around it. This year, our club picked Goal #13, Climate Action. On June 17, 2022, we will celebrate our accomplishments this year and formally end the year with members and friends.
In addition, and in honor of Goal #13, we will be donating money to Waterfront Alliance.
Fundraiser: Raising Money to Fight Climate Change
Waterfront Alliance supports resilient, revitalized, and accessible coastlines for all communities. Waterfront Alliance’s work could not be more critical. By 2100, the New York City region faces as much as six feet of sea level rise. Storms will intensify and heat waves will be longer and hotter. Waterfront works to reduce the risks we face from the climate crisis and ensure our region is resilient for future generations.
Their focus is on increasing waterfront accessibility for all, along with efforts to advocate for a working waterfront that is a vital source of business activity and educating the next generation of waterfront stewards. Ultinately Waterfront Alliance's long-term focus is a well-adapted and resilient New York Harbor.
Our contribution to Waterfront Alliance can support programs serving environmental justice and higher-need communities. This year’s focus is on climate change and resilience – help us fight Climate Change and make New York more resilient by donating today.
Raffle: To help with our fundraiser, we will have two amazing Gift Baskets for our raffle.
The top price is a Case of Custom Label Wine from City Winery, New York City, valued at $700. This price will let you choose from some of the finest vineyards in the country and create your very own label in Manhattan's only fully functioning winery. The Gift Certificate includes one (1) case of 12 bottles; (2) a winery tour; and (3) wine tasting. All valued at $700.
