Join us Saturday mornings for wow-inspiring children’s entertainment of all sorts, from interactive performances, puppets, dance, and music – all designed to light up imaginations and celebrate a world of wonder. It’s free. It’s fun. It’s a great way to Saturday.

About The Show:

Synopsis: The Light House is an interactive shadow show about finding your light. (And also, there are some pretty great sea creatures.) On a little island in a faraway sea, there is a girl who tends a lighthouse and who never ever smiles. Until one day, when she must set out for the horizon, and beyond….

Run Time: Approximately 40 minutes

Age Range: Best for ages 3-8, but everyone is invited!

About The Artists:

Natasha Mirny is a stage director, choreographer, performer, and founder of the Happy Theater. She started her career as a stage director of one of the largest puppet theaters in Moscow, Russia and has been running her small professional theatrical company since 2011. Natasha is a dedicated teacher who works with students of all ages. Her background is in pantomime, puppetry, and physical theater. Natasha teaches at several theaters and Arts Integration programs in DC metro area – Wolf Trap, Dumbarton/Inner City Inner Child, Local Motion Project. She is also a faculty member at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts.
