SCOOP Open Farm Days 2022 - Anneville Farm

Description

The Sustainable Cooperative invites you to meet and engage with some of the island’s most invaluable growers and producers. From smallholdings, to farms of various sizes, all of our growers share an interest in regenerative and organic farming practices, nurturing local ecological habitats and protecting our natural resources.

Our Farm Open Days are aimed at those interested or actively involved in sustainable regenerative farming practices and local food systems. They look to create a network of support among existing growers and those who might be considering a farming future, while also connecting local producers with consumers, to foster a greater understanding and appreciation towards the work local growers do to provide for the local community.

Anneville Farm in St Martin supply the local market with an extensive range of organic vegetables, including salads, brassicas, vine fruit, potatoes, onions and garlic. Anneville Farm are certified by the Organic Soil Association and were finalists in the 2019 BOOM Awards for Organic Farmer Of The Year.

“We are committed to looking at ways of maximising our positive impact on ecological systems, whilst looking after the land we have under our stewardship. We continuously attempt to understand our land better and build a more resilient food system.” Justin Le Gresley, Anneville Farm
