Dive deeper into jazz music by attending a unique two-day event at Oxbow. First, join us on Sat, September 3rd at 1 PM to learn more about jazz, the industry, and sources of inspiration, hosted by the award-winning Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra, and follow it up with a Sunday jazz concert on September 4th at 2 PM.

In our Jazz Clinic: [Sept. 3rd | 1 – 3 PM]

Hosted by SRJO Director Michael Brockman, you’ll learn about the origins of Jazz and its key figures, jazz music theory basics, jazz’s relevance to modern music and culture, listen to classic jazz samples, and experience a demonstration of jazz improv on saxophone.

In our Live Jazz Concert: [Sept. 4th | 2 – 4 PM (w/intermission)]

You’ll experience the aural flavor of jazz in Oxbow's whimsical orchard performed by some of the best musicians in our community. Relax with your family and friends, and connect with nature, each other, and the soothing sounds of Seattle Jazz.

  • Dress for the weather and be prepared to walk and explore! Oxbow has accessible parking and restrooms.
  • Smoking, vaping, and alcohol are prohibited.  
  • Do harvest anywhere unless invited by Oxbow staff
