The New York City Psychedelic Society presents: (Virtual) Psychedelic Integration Circle for People of Color

Please note: This event will be on Zoom! We will have a 25 ticket limit to avoid having too many people in a call at once. Once you register, we will email you before the event with the Zoom link.

We are collectively living through a unique and powerful time due to the pandemic and social distancing measures. Many of us are still journeying during this time, so we want to offer a safe virtual space for community support and opportunity for psychedelic integration for our POC community. We also want to provide a space where we can check-in, see how others are doing, and (hopefully) see your lovely faces!

If you are able, please donate to support our work (we're grateful for any amount)! If you are not able to at this time, you are most welcome to reserve a free ticket! (Donation proceeds will go towards our zoom account, supporting facilitators, and future events).

*This event will not involve facilitation for live psychedelic experiences, nor discuss how to source any substances.

Are you a person of color looking for a safe space to process your insights?

This POC psychedelic integration circle is a community-led peer integration circle where folks can safely share their psychedelic experiences. Those that have not had psychedelic experiences but are curious about psychedelics and want to listen are welcome to attend.

This event is for people of color only. If you are not a person of color but are interested in attending one of our psychedelic integration circles, please check out our free (socially distanced) GATHERING series happening the third Thursday each month at Judson Memorial church in partnership with Psychedelic Sangha!

Guiding Values:

A psychedelic/entheogenic experience can be beautiful, but also harrowing and confusing. Having a safe place and access to a community who understand this experience can be hugely beneficial.

Our aim is to cultivate a community-led POC-only peer integration circle that is non-hierarchical, non-judgmental, accessible, and educational. To heal the inner scars of racism while making outer social change, we must connect and empower one another! Having POC only spaces are gems in today's society (even more so when we can be vulnerable and talk about our psychedelic experiences) and we'd love to share that with you.

Facilitators:

Yarelix (she/her): Yarelix is a Latina harm reductionist, researcher and community organizer passionate about connecting with people of color and social justice advocates in the psychedelic space.

Rhys Hall (he/him): Rhys is a Filmmaker, Musician and avid Psychonaut, whose interests include Psychedelic Integration techniques and Harm Reduction strategies.

Hope (she/they): Hope is a queer, nonbinary, South-Asian massage therapist, Buddhist practitioner, and psychedelic user from Queens.
