An introduction into silk-screen printing.

Held in my light and airy studio you will discover the magic of screen printing. We will discuss various methods for transfering images then I'll guide you through the simple process of creating your own design & getting it ready to print.

We'll design our own images, creating simple and bold silhouettes then we will practise paper cutting techniques and you will cut your own paper stencil in your finished design before printing it onto fabric samples and cotton tote bags, using enviromentally friendly waterbased inks.

All materials are included - please feel free to bring along additional fabric samples if you'd like to.

You will leave with your finished printed item plus any fabric and paper samples you have made. You will also leave with the skills to continue printing at home using easy & effective kitchen tabletop techniques.

No previous printing experience is necessary, suitable for ages 14+.

Throughout the workshop you will be fuelled with tea, coffee & homemade cake.
