How exactly is it free? Here’s the breakdown—apartment management companies are looking for qualified renters to live at their property. Empty units cost them a TON of money. Our job as an apartment locating service is to help clients find the perfect place to live. Properties pay locators a commission out of their marketing budget for referring renters their way. We need an income, clients need a place to live, and properties need tenants. It’s a win-win-win!

About the Smart City Agent role

Full transparency—this isn’t a typical 9-5 gig. It’s real estate and it’s a HOT market.

You’ll build your schedule around when your clients need you, and often that means touring on weekends and talking with clients after they’ve wrapped up their own workday. It also means having control over your vacation and time off. Never feel guilty for sleeping in or heading to the gym for a mid-weekday workout—and you’ll certainly never have to ask for permission to schedule a doctor’s appointment again.

What will you do?

Ultimately, your job as an agent is to help people find apartments they love. On the daily, you will:

• Manage client relationships from lead to lease
• Be super accessible to your clients by chatting via text, phone, email, carrier pigeon, etc.
• Put together hyper-personalized lists of available units
• Work directly with property partners, schedule and attend tours
• Earn commissions for leasing clients
